13.15 NIKUNJA

Designed as a modest single family residence, the home employs a composite structural system featuring steel vertical columns and fair-faced exterior walls. Oriented along a north-south axis, it opens generously to southern views of the adjacent golf course, inviting natural ventilation and enhancing spatial comfort.

Despite its compact footprint, the design integrates all essential functions within a restrained vertical volume. Expansive openings blur the boundary between interior and exterior, fostering a serene, light-filled environment conducive to mental and social well-being. A central core intersects the layout, echoing plugin-inspired design elements with full-height glazing that visually connects the staircase to the outdoors, enriching the living experience. Verandahs, conceived as modular insertions, punctuate the structure with lightness and rhythm. The interplay of steel framing and exposed fair-face walls yields an uncluttered, spacious interior while ensuring a harmonious dialogue with its natural surroundings.
